| When I was 22 I packed up everything I owned, stuffed it in my 1984 Mustang 5.0 and headed to Gunnison, CO. Gunnison is the home my alma mater the Western State College of Colorado. It was a little strange coming from Dallas to Gunnison on my own and almost on a whim. But the first day there I met a fellow named Benjamin who was my age and had packed up and came to WSC from Minnesota. We later became good friends and roommates. The next few years are some of my fondest memories: Playing college rugby, learning to rock climb (on real rock!), skiing and snowboarding in the winters, learning to ice skate (outside!!) and play hockey, taking road trips throughout CO, hiking, cycling, motorcycling on some of the most scenic roads in the U.S., home brewing, dirt biking, and many other fun activities. I met tons of people and made lots of friends while I was there. And, as always, more pictures are sure to come! |
